How Many Policies Do You Need to Sell?

Compare five different average monthly policy premiums. Each row shows the number of policies needed to meet or exceed your income goal.

Monthly Policy Premium Policies Needed Total Monthly Premium Sold Your Estimated Commission

How to read this table: Each row is a separate production scenario. For example, if you sell only $100/month policies, the calculator shows how many of those policies you need.

Policy counts are always rounded up to whole policies so the estimated commission meets or exceeds your income goal.

Your Weekly Production Target

Weekly targets are calculated using a four-week production month.

Commission assumptions: Calculations use the selected carrier commission basis multiplied by the agent compensation level and the agent's commission share.

Gross first-year commissions are calculated from 12 months of policy premium. Actual advances, placement, persistency, chargebacks, policy-specific compensation, taxes, and carrier adjustments may change the amount or timing of payment.

GEB rates are modeled as additional percentage points above the 75% MD level. Actual bonus eligibility and payment rules must be confirmed with your compensation schedule.
